OK, there is something you can try if you have the radio code for the car. The display can sometimes be reset by disconnecting the battery for around five minutes and then reconnecting again. This allows the capacitive charge in the display to deplete and can sometimes get it working again. there is a regulator for the display brightness, you may have it turn'd down or it has stopped working;. it controls the brightness at which the dash lights are. usually has a speedo sign on it. goes up and down. it works with the main light and is conecter to them on the same lighting board if it has gone then a new light swtch control switch will be needed.

The screen will display 4 zeroes. When your phone prompts you for a PIN, enter these same 4 zeroes. Perform Master Reset. This process does erase all data in SYNC, but not your Android. Refer to the audio display during an active voice session to find a list of voice commands there. You may be speaking too soon or at the wrong time. The microphone for the system is either in your rear view mirror or in the headliner just above the windshield. SYNC does not understand the name of a song or artist.

I have just replaced the battery in my x reg 1.8 ford mondeo duratec, once reconnected the radio wanted the radio code which i found on a sticker in the book along with the radio code etc, when entered it is not accepting the code, I cannot get the unit out either to get the number from the side of it for dealer to do it! I have a Ford Mondeo (2008) and the stereo is not working properly. It is the 6000CD model. The display keeps saying 'PHONE' and there no other buttons work when its like that except the volume (not even the on/off button). However, every now and again the radio/CD will start working again, whether its for a few seconds or a few minutes.

Ford CD 6000 code input problem - Adam {P} If your code was 3452 then it would be tempting to press those buttons but you would in fact press 1 three times, then the 2 button 4 times, then the 3 button 5 times etc.. Then the 5 or the 6 button to enter the code. I can't remember but I think it's button 5.
If you get a DAB unit you might have to get convers+ software updated before DAB will show in convers. 2. Mic might not work, after fitting my unit the mic stopped working, still not found a solution (yes I've changed the jumper plug above glove box) 3. As said above you'll need a jumper plug to change the pin outs.
Sorry I've not replied sooner but have been away with work, anyhow thanks to the above and some good fortune I have narrowed the problem down to the radio. Basically after disconnecting the battery if I do not enter the radio code and use car as usual with no radio then the battery drain is not there. So I have been using the car with no radio
Just bought a 2015 Mondeo Titanium (possibly Vignale) and joined the group. I'd like to add functions like auto door locking when driving and showing mph in display as speedo is rather unhelpful.
